One mission - One Vision
Mission
Love God, Love Others, Make Disciples
Vision
To Bring Wholeness to the whole through healthy biblical communities of holy people multiplying disciples, groups, leaders and churches
The Free Methodist movement was birthed in 1860 as a Spirit-Filled response to ethnic and socioeconomic injustice of the day. We started as a movement that took the gospel outside the church walls to marginalized people of the world.
The word FREE in the Free Methodist Church was birthed from five core freedoms:
FREEDOM for all ethnicities to worship together
FREEDOM for men and women to serve
FREEDOM for the poor to be treated with dignity
FREEDOM for laity to have equal voice in leading the church and
FREEDOM for the Holy Spirit in worship.
